As part of the Auckland Heritage Festival, Auckland Museum are opening up the Museum's South Crescent rooftop for special heritage tours.
Take advantage of this rare chance to learn more about one of the city’s most beloved heritage buildings and our ongoing role as kaitiaki (guardians), working to restore and preserve its iconic features for the future.
View the Museum's recent heritage restoration work, see how the building has developed over time, and stop by the field of solar panels - usually hidden from view below the roof parapet. You will also enjoy incredible panoramic views of the Waitematā Harbour from the Museum’s rooftop.
Each session is 45 minutes long and suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over. The tour includes stairs and isn't suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. A moderate fitness level is required.
Sessions are limited to 15 people, book now to secure your place.
