In 2023 with the support of ANZ, Ockham NZ Book Awards shortlisted writer Pip Adam travelled to Mumbai for the Tata Literature Live! Festival – the city’s largest international literature festival. It was here that Pip met and sat in conversation with one of India’s most popular authors and translators, Jerry Pinto. In discussion about literature that transcends boundaries, Jerry and Pip hit it off immediately.
This year, they reunite at Auckland Writers Festival Waituhi o Tāmaki to catch up about their novels, future plans and writing fiction that evades genres and conventions.
