Join Auckland Central Library and step back in time to the late 1980s! Supported by organizations like Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace, and The Royal Forest and Bird Society of New Zealand (Auckland Branch), the 'Save Our Milk Bottles' campaign was active in the late 1980s.

This campaign wasn't just about milk bottles; it was a movement against waste and pollution. It challenged the introduction of plastic milk bottles as being wasteful and also the deregulation of milk distribution which ended home delivery.

Come visit Auckland Central library display featuring photographs and ephemera from Friends of the Earth records.
