Following a triumphant BBC Proms debut in London, New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Artistic Advisor and Principal Conductor Gemma New returns home for unmissable concert experiences in New Zealand from 27 October.

Join NZSO for an enchanting evening as Gemma New leads the NZSO in performances across various cities, showcasing four groundbreaking early 20th-century works. You'll be treated to the mesmerizing vocals of the acclaimed soprano Madeleine Pierard and the enchanting melodies of NZSO flautist Bridget Douglas.

The centerpiece of the evening is "Poem of Ecstasy," inspired by the cosmic masterpiece of Russian composer Alexander Scriabin. As he described it, it's "the joy of liberated action… a divine play of worlds." It's a piece that will transport you to otherworldly realms.

But that's not all! Our talented Orchestra will also bring to life Claude Debussy’s "Syrinx," Jean Sibelius’ "Luonnotar," and Maurice Ravel’s "Daphnis et Chloé Suite No. 2."

Don't miss out on this extraordinary program. Come along for a night of musical magic and cosmic exploration!
