Homeland are holding an extra special four-course dinner event, designed by Peter Gordon and interim Head Chef, Anna Weir - in partnership with Franklin Local Board. It will be a showcase of the incredible ingredients and artisan produce of this abundant region.
The night will start with a smoky kāpeti kimchi Bloody Mary, followed by oysters two ways, proceeding on to Perigord truffle topped beef dumplings, and so much more. What guests have loved in the past about these type of Homeland events is the chance to hear from the producers directly, and truly make that connection with where our food comes from
Producers in the Franklin region provide up to 26% of the food eaten in Auckland and across New Zealand. From oysters to cheese to the best vegetables, the abundance of this food basket is incredible.
