Inselberg is hosting an Auckland pop-up store in Britomart, from July 9-13, showcasing its collection of technical outerwear designed for alpine missions in New Zealand and beyond.
Inselberg started in a converted milking shed nestled in the rugged landscapes of New Zealand. Their humble beginning reflects their resourcefulness and connection to the environment. New Zealand’s dramatic alpine terrain, with its unpredictable weather, steep ridges, and jagged peaks, has shaped how they approach design.
Their mission is to provide climbers and mountaineers with equipment that excels in technical performance, durability, and minimalist design. Every product developed is a deliberate response to the challenges of high-altitude and vertical terrain, designed to support climbers in achieving their objectives without compromise.
The space will have live demonstrations of the technical tests used to ensure Inselberg’s gear meets the highest standards of durability.
This will include a specially created in-store lab to test the jacket against the elements, a machine which shows how much water pressure our fabrics can withstand & a hands-on durability test for visitors.
The Inselberg pop up store will be open from 10am-6pm at Spacefor 10 Te Ara Tahuhu, Britomart.
Park for $2.50 per hour at the Downtown car park to a maximum of $15.50 on evenings and weekends. Find out more.
