Something seriously delicious is landing at Deli di Bossi this World Sandwich Day (Monday 3 November) – and it’s a collaboration thousands have been waiting for.
Hercules Noble (aka the King of Sourdough) has teamed up with Bossi Executive Chef Shaun Dowling to create the Carbonara Pane Fritto – a bold, never-before-tasted twist on Hercules’ most viral sourdough recipe.
Inspired by Rome’s iconic carbonara, this creation features a thick slice of Hercules’ signature Carbonara Sourdough, lightly egg-washed and toasted, then topped with silky mascarpone, pecorino and ricotta cream, crispy guanciale, and a delicate drizzle of maple syrup – a perfect balance of savoury and sweet.
It’s a match made in heaven for Deli di Bossi, known for its fresh, handmade focaccia sandwiches and authentic Italian flavours. Available for one week only, the Carbonara Pane Fritto ($22) and whole Carbonara Sourdough loaf ($16) will be served Monday 3 – Saturday 8 November, until sold out daily.
Hercules himself will be onsite Monday only (10am–2pm) for the big World Sandwich Day launch – so get in early.
