You are invited to explore the different ways in which adornments are represented in the Contemporary Maori art world by a number of different artists, including the little Natives, Shona Tawhiao, Rangimarie McDowell and Keri-Mei Zagrobelna to name a few. Drawing inspiration from the Taiao (nature), Pakiwaitara (collective histories) and Atua Maori (Higher Powers) each of these artists reflect on these themes in their own unique ways through adornments/jewellery.
