Elliot Francis Stewart will be creating one of his iconic murals for Art in the City.

Starting on October 10, he will bring to life a vision of vibrancy and colour at 56 High Street. Check it out amongst a plethora of other public art exhibitions and installations on display.

Furthermore, taking place for Late Night Art on October 13, head to 59 High Street to join a free talk by prolific Auckland artist Ross Liew where he'll discuss the wide ranging benefits of public murals. See more about Late Night Art here.

About the artist:

Elliot spent his childhood engrossed in comic books and creating elaborately rendered drawings of galleons and scenes of war. He attended the now-defunct Auckland Metropolitan College where he met his tight-knit crew of friends who became known as the RFC (Rat Fink Club) crew. Garnering a reputation for offbeat cartoon-based graffiti, Elliot became part of Auckland graffiti crew TMD (The Most Dedicated) in 2001 and quickly established himself as the foremost talent in character-based work in aerosol.
