Aotearoa Art Fair, New Zealand’s premier event for contemporary art, returns to Auckland from 18 – 21 April 2024. One of the most significant art events in New Zealand’s cultural calendar, the Fair welcomes thousands of local and international visitors each year.
The Fair spotlights the breadth and diversity of contemporary art in our region, bringing together leading galleries from New Zealand and Australia to showcase a range of works by leading and established artists. Over the four-day art-packed event, visitors can indulge in everything from gallery exhibitions and large-scale sculptures to engaging panel talks and interactive workshops, not forgetting the delicious food and beverage options.
Whether you’re a seasoned collector, occasional buyer, or just curious about art, this is your opportunity to browse and buy from hundreds of works. From painting to sculpture, print to ceramics, there’s something for everyone at the Aotearoa Art Fair.
Among the notable list of galleries participating in this year's Fair are Starkwhite, Gow Langsford Gallery, McLeavey Gallery, Michael Lett, Jhana Millers, Two Rooms Gallery, Martin Browne Contemporary, Bergman Gallery, TIM MELVILLE, ARTIS Gallery, Sumer, Milford Galleries and more. From traditional to contemporary, painting to sculpture, visitors can expect to encounter a diverse range of mediums and styles, reflecting the exciting landscape of Aotearoa's visual arts community.
Within the Fair, there will also be a selection of galleries that will spotlight emerging artists, among them Coastal Signs, SEASON, Envy and Te Manawa.
