Origami Making Classes at Auckland Art Gallery

Kids can learn the art of traditional Japanese paper folding at Auckland Art Gallery this summer which is available as an activity that is a part of the Lee Mingwei and His Relations: The Art of Participation exhibition. This activity is free for all. 

IMAX Cinema – Under the SEA 3D

Experience some of the most exotic parts of the ocean in this 40 minute IMAX experience at Event Cinemas Queen Street. Family Circus Sundays 

Free Circus Sundays are back in Victoria Park every third Sunday starting from January 15 until March 19. Join the Circability Crew and some of the best performers in Auckland who will teach you a variety of fun circus skills including things such as the art of juggling, trapeze and the unicycle. 

End of the Wharf at the New Zealand Maritime Museum 

Check out the New Zealand Maritime Museum's new family zone, End of the Wharf, which features an outdoor garden, plenty of fun games and stunning views of the harbour. Entry to this is free with your ticket to the New Zealand Maritime Museum. 

Silo Park Slugger 

Come down to Silo Park these school holidays and try your hand at the their new batting cages. With both a batting and pitching cage there is plenty of fun to be had for anyone aged 6+ and you can try out both cages for just $2.
