City centre eats are back on the menu! And while being spoilt for choice is always a good thing, are you facing the conundrum of where to order from today? Lunch or a quick bite on your mind? After full flavour, no fuss? Check out some of our ideas below that might even have you sorted for more than one serving - because who doesn't love leftovers too?!

Sumthin Dumplin

Sumthin Dumplin for your dumpling fix

This cult favourite dumpling bar is back open for takeaway and delivery service and fans couldn't be happier! We have our eyes on their family boxes to feed everyone in our bubble that come in two sizes, large and regular (which feeds three people easily) with complimentary salads.

Gochu

Gochu for top-rated Korean fusion

Seen all the buzz around Gochu, named Best Casual Restaurant as part of Metro's Top 50 Restaurants list for 2021, but haven't checked it out yet? You can get a small glimpse into why it is rated so highly with  contactless pick available for its two most popular dishes - Jason's Fried Chicken and its Milk Buns (in packs of four no less!) - which were voted Best Dish as part of Metro's list too.

CevicheBar3_0.jpg

Ceviche Bar for tasty Latin American cuisine

You might not be able to travel to Latin America for a while yet, but the good news it that you can experience its authentic cuisine with the click of a button in level 3! Ceviche Bar, the first Latin American gourmet restaurant in New Zealand has a great takeaway menu to check out, including brisket quesadillas, fajitas, and our favourite, the Chicharron de Mariscos (crispy fried calamari wings).

Homeland

Homeland for a taste of New Zealand

Dubbed the ''Food Embassy for New Zealand and the Pacific'', we love Homeland for many reasons, one being how they celebrate fresh and local New Zealand produce. During level 3 we've got our eyes on their Hot-smoked Ōra King Salmon salad for a tasty lunch, plus a three-cheese scone for a morning or afternoon treat.

Lobster and tap

Lobster and Tap for seafood lovers

Upgrade your lunch and let the good times roll again with DIY Lobster Kits, available for delivery every Friday throughout level 3 from Lobster and Tap. The kits come complete with lobster meat, freshly baked rolls and condiments.

scarecrow-beef-pie

Scarecrow for a hearty meal

For Scarecrow, great food isn’t just about the ingredients; it’s about where it comes from, who makes it, how it makes it's way to the plate, and finally, how it’s enjoyed by you! If you're keen to support local then you'll be doing so with a purchase from this ''urban farmers market''. And while the temperamental spring weather continues to bring about some chilly, rainy days, our eyes are firmly planted on their hearty ready-made pies - particularly the beef red wine mushroom pie - yum!

Nahm

Nahm for tasty Thai

Thai is always a great takeaway option, for both its flavoursome dishes and big quantities, so you'll often find you can get leftovers for the next day too. Offering both click and collect or Uber Eats, you can't go wrong with their traditional curries, pad thai or Tom Yum soup or if you're feeling more adventurous, opt for a crab rangoon featuring cream cheese and crab meat, spicy salmon larb salad or a red duck curry stir fry.

Yeah Bowl

Yeah Bowl for poke bowl cravings

Missing the weekly poke bowls you use to get for lunch in the city centre? While you're waiting to return back to the office, add some colour to your level 3 at-home plate and ''eat the rainbow'' with a poke bowl from Yeah Bowl! This popular eatery is offering Yeah Bowl at Home Meal Kits as well as their usual takeaway menu. Whatever your preference, make sure you add their tsunami edamame to your order for a bit more kick to your meal!

Smash brothers

Smash Bros. for an epic burger fix

Craving an old fashioned burger and shake to go? We recommend heading to Smash Bros. burger joint in Elliott Stables. Our mouth is watering just looking at the Crispy Chicken Satay Burger, but there's plenty of other burgers to try, and gluten free buns too. Place an order via Uber Eats, phone, Facebook messenger, or just walk up.
