Your private tour starts downtown on Auckland's historic Queen Street at 1.30pm. Your friendly local guide will walk you through the city’s hidden lanes to an early Māori fortress and a park with a military secret. On the way you'll sample artisan treats at a local chocolaterie. You’ll hear stories at the heart of the city and ho-ho-hop on the locals' bus to vibrant uptown and an historic arcade. A gentle stroll through a valley humming with birdsong brings you to the city's theatre district and finally, the Auckland Town Hall. Your reserved table then awaits at a popular city bistro for tapas. Imagine Turkish kebabs, potatas bravas, garlic mushrooms with chorizo sausage, satay chicken, Spanish tuna dip and more.
Walk duration: 2 - 2,5 hours
Distance: around 3 km at a leisurely pace. The route includes stairs and an uphill section.
