Our first workshop is really just a hangout to get to know each other. It will be a casual, safe and low-pressure environment to discuss topics related to feminism, gender, and justice.

Our workshop leaders are Kaitlin Henderson and Tessa Morgan, facilitators of the Intersectional Feminist Club. The club meets monthly at the Auckland Women's centre in Grey Lynn to share ideas in an all-inclusive space.

Kaitlin Henderson is the Centre Manager at Auckland's Women's Center, and Tessa Morgan is a PhD graduate in late-life care. Together they will facilitate a discussion about the challenges we face as women or gender diverse individuals in the workplace and beyond. It will be a friendly environment to get to know and learn from the Manzana residents, creatives, and artists.

Please note: cost is free but capacity is limited to 25 participants, registration essential and vaccine passes are required for attendance.

Workshops are supported by the City Centre Place Activation Te Kaunihera o Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Council.

Park for $2 per hour, to a maximum of $10 on evenings and weekends at the Victoria St car park. Find out more.
