This unique workshop is a collaborative effort between the Central City Hub, Drowning Prevention Aotearoa and the Tepid Baths.

Through the lens of Māori perspectives on wai (water) and tikanga Māori, participants will explore the deep cultural, spiritual and practical connections between people and water.

The workshop equips attendees with essential knowledge and skills for safely engaging with water, both in and around aquatic environments. Free to attend, but registration is required.

Open to participants aged 13 and above; guardian presence required for those aged 13–15. Attendance at the practical session is a prerequisite for joining the in-house workshop.
