Hosted by Te Wharekura and held in Te Wānanga, this special series of kōrero explores the deep connections between wai, whenua and whakapapa.
Against the stunning backdrop of the Waitematā Harbour, join the kaitiaki of the Pourewa māra kai (garden) as they share insights into native plantings, their Māori names and uses, and the vital role of wai in sustaining life.
Walk through this unique urban space, gaining practical gardening understanding rooted in mātauranga Māori.
The sessions are an opportunity to listen, touch, reflect and reconnect – with the land, water and each other.
