This event has been postponed.

We are sad to have to announce the postponement of our album release show at the Tuning Fork on Saturday 15 August due to new Covid-19 restrictions. We will let you know as soon as possible the later date.  Just hang onto your tickets and they will be valid for the rescheduled date.

We’ll throw another Miltones party when everyone’s safety is guaranteed.

Milly Tabak and The Miltones are known as the masters of blending modern blues-rock with the nostalgia of a vintage record collection. The Auckland five-piece have been turning heads with their powerful stage presence and moody melodies since forming in 2014.

Their debut recording (Produced by Ben Edwards – Nadia Reid, Aldous Harding, Marlon Williams, Tami Neilson) earned them last year’s Best Independent Debut Album at the Taite Music Awards and was labeled “the freshest sound in New Zealand popular music right now” by the NZ Herald.

The band’s first nationwide tour wrapped up in late 2017 after up-sizing venues to accommodate ticket sales and a sold-out show at Auckland's Tuning Fork. This year saw continued success as lead singer Milly Tabak was selected to attend Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas  City by the NZ Music Commission with Anika Moa. It also marked the  Miltones summer festival debut with a massive double slot at the lauded  WOMAD festival in Taranaki drawing over 3000 people to their performance  which left attendees wanting more and emptying the merch table. Other notable performances were opening for The Teskey Brothers New Zealand  Tour and supporting Tami Neilson on her five-stop tour.

The band consists of Milly Tabak, vocals and guitar,  Liam Pratt, guitar, Guy Harrison on keys (Hollie Smith), Chip Matthews on bass (Aaradhna, Home Brew) and Tom Broome on drums (Esther Stephen & The  Means, Hollie Smith)
