Raise a glass to 250 years of one of Champagne’s most celebrated family houses as kingi and The Hotel Britomart partner with Louis Roederer for an unforgettable evening of fine food and exceptional champagne.

Taking place for one night only on Saturday 28 November, this exclusive dinner will be hosted in the intimate setting of The Libraries, with just 32 seats available.

Guests will be welcomed with caviar on potato blini and a Louis Roederer champagne cocktail before settling in for a three-course menu by Executive Chef Andrew Lautenbach. Each course has been thoughtfully paired with a selection of Louis Roederer champagnes, including Collection 247, Brut 2018 and Brut Rosé 2018.

The menu celebrates the flavours of the season, featuring Tora Bay crayfish, pork porchetta with roasted grapes and champagne jus, and a decadent finale of summer berries and champagne-soaked rum baba.

Throughout the evening, Ben Longhurst, Louis Roederer’s New Zealand ambassador, will guide guests through each pour, sharing the stories, craftsmanship and history behind the iconic Champagne house as it marks its 250th anniversary. For those looking to make the occasion even more memorable, the prestigious Cristal cuvée will also be available to order.
