Auckland indie-pop phenomenon and rising global superstar BENEE has announced a run of headline shows for New Zealand in October. The ‘Supalonely’ singer, who recently performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, has been on a meteoric rise to stardom. With her hit singles playlisted the world over, Benee has collected over half a billion streams and a passionate global fan base obsessed by her groove-drenched sound and quirky lyrical take on the world.

Since bursting onto the scene with her debut single ‘Tough Guy’, Benee has been quickly recognized as an artist synonymous with dropping irrepressible bops and bona fide pop earworms. Her global breakout hit ‘Supalonely’ is certified Gold in the USA and already Platinum in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Mexico, Norway, New Zealand, and the Netherlands. She's held the #1 spot on radio in Germany and #12 in the US.  Her single ‘Soaked’ is Double Platinum in Australia and New Zealand and she has Platinum discs for ‘Glitter’ and Gold single awards for ‘Evil Spider’ and ‘Find An Island’ on both sides of the Tasman.

The young artist, whose real name is Stella Bennett, claimed four NZ Music Awards in 2019, taking home prizes for Best Single (‘Soaked’), Best Solo Artist, Best Pop Artist and Breakthrough Artist. Josh Fountain also collected the Producer of the Year award for his work on her records.
