DJ ORIKoL is an Afrobeat and pan-African DJ, bringing the fire, passion and beats of Afrika to dancefloors across Aotearoa. Her sets are renowned for bringing the party, often accompanied by live drummers and dancers. She was the first female African DJ to play the main stage at Splore (2020) and has made a name for herself by creating sets described as visual and musical explosions. She’s toured Samoa in collaboration with Base FM, where she hosted an Afrobeats & African music show for two years. Trusted and hired by major event players in Tāmaki Makaurau – Silo Park, Heart of the City, Aotea Square, Auckland City Council and Artweek, she’s a pioneer DJ of the Afrobeat club and cultural scene both in the city and across the country.
