It's school holiday time again and your kids can enjoy heaps of exciting workshops at Central City Library.
There's everything from rubber band engineering to crazy cardboard box city construction and a not to be missed exploration of the library's basement.
The tamariki (kids) will be fully entertained this April with lots of workshops and shelves full of great holiday reads for the whole whānau (family).

Fire away! Take a STEM challenge to build a catapult using simple materials and test it.
Up, Down and Around
Thursday 19 April, 2pm - 3pm
Get a special behind-the scenes look at the basement and the amazing telelift at Central City Library.
Sky High City
Saturday 21 April, 1.30pm - 2.30pm
Take part in a Makerspace activity to build a cardboard city. Add your own creation and watch it take shape.
Junior Astronomers
Tuesday 24 April, 2pm - 3pm
Explore the universe and make some exciting space discoveries.
Bubblemania
Thursday 26 April, 2pm - 3pm
Can you make a geometric bubble? Yes you can! Come and find out how at this amazing bubble workshop.
Planes of the Past
Saturday 28 April, 2pm - 3pm
Have you ever built a bi-plane? Central City Library will show you how, using everyday household items. See the amazing images from the heritage photo collection of World War I and II planes.
$2 per hour to a max of $12 on weekends and a $12 flat rate for weekday evenings at The Civic car park. Find out more.
