Ceviche Bar by Besos Latinos is now closed.
Besos Latinos – ‘Latin Kisses’ has just opened its second city centre eatery right next to ASB Waterfront Theatre on Halsey Street.
In this new location on Wynyard Quarter, you can enjoy amazing Latin American gourmet delights, delicious seafood & ceviche from chef Luis Cabrera (who cooked for Barack Obama on his recent trip to New Zealand) and his team while drinking some Tequila Patrón and looking at Mexican handcrafts and folk art all around the place.
Everything is handmade, and custom made by talented artisans in rural communities across five states in Mexico. From the plates, glasses, cutlery to furniture and lighting, you can expect an explosion of colour and unique design. Even the bar has tiles that have been glued by hand one by one.
On top of the beautiful interior fit-out, the restaurant’s waterside setting makes it perfect for a date night or a catch up with friends.
