Once again our city centre businesses have adapted quickly to being back at higher alert levels, and have come up with some great initiatives to stay connected and keep us entertained at home in our bubbles. Academy Cinemas – Stay entertained with Academy on demand service
A popular option from past lockdowns, Academy Cinema's on Demand service is always a great option when you're looking to stay entertained and pass the time - you can rent new releases or classic titles to watch from the comfort of your living room, and there's also a rotating selection for $5 Wednesdays. Auckland Yoga Academy - Practice mindfulness and yoga in your living room
The Auckland Yoga Academy also offer online classes. Head to their website to grab yourself a spot in their zoom Ashtanga and Hatha yoga classes with teacher Hui Zhang. Les Mills - Keep fit with a home workout
Everyday, Les Mills and TVNZ will be bringing an at home workouts direct to our TV screens. At 10am each weekday the free-to-air workouts will range from high-intensity training to stretching and meditation. Just because we can't get to the library, doesn't mean we have to stop reading! Enjoy streaming films, online courses and browse the latest eCollections and podcasts all from the comfort of home. Read an eBook, learn a new skill, travel around the world (virtually) or simply curl up with an old classic.
