Les Mills - Keep fit with a home workout

Everyday, Les Mills and TVNZ will be bringing an at home workout to our TV screens. At both 9am and 3pm each day the free-to-air workouts will range from high-intensity training to stretching and meditation. There will also be workouts designed specifically for children and teenagers. If you can’t tune in to the TV at the time it will be broadcast, don’t worry, the workouts will be available on TVNZ OnDemand – no excuses now to skip your daily workout. And if that isn't enough, Les Mills will also be doing Instagram live workouts at 7am, 11am, 2pm, and 7pm weekdays and 11am and 2pm on weekends - See the schedule hereAdditionally, Ish Cheyne (head of fitness) will be bringing you some wise words in the form of the Les Mills at Home podcast on Spotify. Chef Sid Sahrawat from Cassia will be reactivating his "Hospobaby" Facebook and Instagram accounts for the next few weeks, where there will be a series of video led recipes to follow. Hospobaby is the place to go for recipes and ideas to get kids cooking, the videos will feature Chef Sid and eight year old Daughter Zoya (with cameo appearances from four year old son, Roan). 

Over the next few weeks, at mid day each Wednesday a new 'How to' video will be posted for you to follow at home. The menu looks delicious!

New Zealand School of Food and Winea learning platform for students

New Zealand School of Food and Wine has now launched their NZSFWLive – a new online learning platform where tutors live-stream their classes to students at home. The cookery students have been supplied with ingredients, and in some cases, bowls, trays, sieves and pots, so that they watch the demonstration and then prepare at home and upload a photo of what’s cooked. Above is Chef Finn preparing a cheese soufflé. What a great way to stay connected!
